Portland neighborhood leaders, we need your help to activate the community and dig out of this recession!

Bright Neighbor is seeking team leaders for a citizen-led September neighborhood organizing campaign from September 27th through October 1st that will help our beautiful city dig out of hard times with a faster, community-driven pace.

Join your Portland neighbors as Bright Neighbor and our project partners help spread the word about the top neighborhood resources in a fun, door-to-door campaign across all 95-city neighborhoods.

Come on Richmond, now is the time!
Hey, Sellwood, fire it up!
Yo, St. John’s – let’s go!

And yes, your neighborhood too!

Bright Neighbor and our partner organizations are helping launch multiple local citizen-powered projects in the Portland Metro Area this fall, because a well-connected neighborhood is a safe, fun community to live in.

From 9/27/10 – 10/1/10, we need neighborhood leaders to lead teams of volunteers to canvass across Portland, helping organize neighborhoods.

Each leader will receive a Bright Neighbor t-shirt, and we will be sponsoring a big party at the end of the week’s campaign.

Are you a neighborhood leader interested in learning valuable team organizing skills? Join Bright Neighbor’s new leader Colonel Arnold Strong as he helps train attendees on organization and mobilization tactics for building community resiliency in Portland.

HOW TO SIGN UP TO BECOME A LEADER FOR THIS PROJECT
